DONATIONS Unlike a Fire District, the Olive Fire Department was organized as a 501-C-3 (not for profit) corporation. Funding is provided through a contract negotiated every three years with the Town Board of the Town of Olive. All buildings, apparatus and equipment is owned and maintained by the Olive Fire Department #1 Inc. It should be noted that the last contract was maintained within the 2% State mandated ceiling despite large increases in fuel and equipment prices.
